Road
The M4 motorway runs directly to Swansea from west Wales, south-east Wales and London. The A465 Heads of the Valleys road connects with the M4 which offers a number of major dual carriageway connections straight to the heart of the city. The A465 also connects to the M50 motorway and M5 motorway making Swansea within an easy few hours drive of the West Midlands.
If you prefer not to drive, First operates a frequent shuttle coach service from Cardiff to Swansea. The service runs hourly off-peak and half-hourly at peak times. There are frequent buses to Swansea too, from all other principal towns in south and west Wales.
